Sandy is a shy 2 year old who is fairly quiet and a little scared of strange people and strange dogs. Weighing in at 10lbs, she prefers little dogs to big dogs. She is in a household with 7 other dogs. Of those dogs, 3 are less than 20lbs and she started playing with them right away. After a week, she started playing with the 60lb Chow mix. She still is concerned around the dogs that are over 80lbs, but we feel certain that - - with time - - she will be fine with them as well. Sandy is looking for an owner that will play with her, especially tug-of-war, and take her for daily walks. She walks beautifully on leash, not pulling in the least. She is not very cuddly, but she definitely wants to be around her new owner as much as possible, and she checks in every little while, to get a pet or a scratch. In addition to an owner who will give her play time and together time, Sandy is looking for an owner who will make sure she is professionally groomed at least once a month, with brushing at home in-between. Adoption fee for her is $100, donations are always welcome.
